We ensure that everything is geared towards a tighter process, a sustainable approach to waste management and moving our organisation towards zero waste. To reduce the impact our works have on the environment and communities we work in, the procedures we have set in place include:

  • Reviewing our Environmental and Waste Policy regularly
  • Focus on maximising recycling opportunities and enabling customers to meet environmental compliance and reporting obligations
  • Training staff on Environmental initiatives and the latest recommendations
  • Formulating waste management plans for each project
  • Develop strategies for minimising waste and finding ways to re-use materials
  • Segregating waste and ensuring we minimise waste going to landfill
  • Renewing vehicles every 3 years with fuel efficient models
  • Subscribing to the reduce, reuse, recycle ethos
  • Measuring our carbon footprint and minimising carbon emissions in how we work , for example:
    • Vehicle sharing
    • Paper-less systems
  • Procuring materials through sustainable sources (FSC)
  • Maintaining our EMS and Working towards the ISO 14001 standard

At TMN we do all we can to ensure we work in an environmentally friendly way and I am proud of our record and commitment of zero waste to landfill.
